Available for rent is this privately-owned, luxury air-conditioned two-bedroom apartment located in the stunning resort of Calis (pronounced "Chalish") on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
The apartment can accommodate up to five guests and is just a five-minute walk from the beautiful Calis beach with its bustling promenade, lined with restaurants and bars. This is a delightful area catering to all tastes - it is suitable for families seeking adventures and activities, as well as those wanting to get away from it all.
The apartment is one of twelve on a small, friendly complex all surrounding a large communal pool. This newly-built complex is exceptionally well placed for all local attractions and amenities. It is furnished to a high standard to ensure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
The weather in this region is typically Mediterranean, with the summer months being very hot (average day-time temperatures between 30°C and 35°C) with moderate humidity. The chart (left) shows climate details for the region: Calis is famous for a welcome cooling breeze, perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. During the low season, it is obviously milder but rarely can it be considered cold. It is also famous for some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world - these have to be seen to be believed!
Calis is a relaxing yet busy holiday resort, with a beautiful narrow, arching beach which stretches for miles. It is situated on flat coastal land (and is therefore ideal for people with mobility restrictions) and faces the town of Fethiye to the south across the bay. Green mountains form a spectacular backdrop in the distance. Bars and restaurants line the beach area along the seafront. Calis also has its own water-park, a great day out and only a short walk from the apartment.
Dalaman is the nearest airport and this is approximately thirty-five minutes away from the apartment by road. Frequent flights are available from many of the UK's airports including Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle and Stanstead. Cars can be hired from any of the local operators though taxis and buses are readily available and very reasonable. Transfers to and from the airport can be arranged on request. One of many good websites to try for flights is www.skyscanner.net, our recommendation is that you use the "whole month" option from the drop down calendar box when entering your dates. This will then show you the prices for the various flights on each day so you can select the one that best meets your requirements.
Prices for rental in the low season (mid-October to mid-May) are £275 per week (pool unavailable), rising to £290 per week in the mid-season (mid-May to end of June and September to mid-October) and £300 in the high-season (July and August).
